I love tech, operations, and people. That intersection is where I am the most happy and the best at my job.
My background is extremely varied—from running a Tinder consultancy to executive coaching and from being a kayaking instructor to being CEO of a fully remote international travel company and trying to stop monkeys from chewing through internet cables. I also used to be a wild bat catcher using the high-tech equipment of a plastic ice cream bucket and a baseball mitt.
With this wide breadth of experiences, I've managed almost every aspect of a company (front-end dev, QA, HR, strategy, PR, finance, sales, marketing, PM, logistics, customer service, copywriting, etc.) over the years.
As you can imagine, I have a lot of fun stories from my various ventures. Hit me up if you want to know more.

Master in Korean • April 2010
I did an emphasis in Korean language pedagogy and North Korean language branding and marketing. I wrote my thesis on Munhwaŏ : the 'cultured language' and language branding in North Korea, 1964-1984 in a record 3 weeks.
Feel free to read my thesis here. You'll want to get comfy first.
Bachelor in Neuroscience and Korean (Summa Cum Laude) • April 2008
I started in Neuroscience with a dream to go to med school but added Korean as a double major after I fell in love with teaching Korean language and culture. I melded them both together with research about which brain centers are activated in processing your primary language vs. secondary language.
